Ran into some JW's.......but this time I did the teaching ;) x
by snare&racket inso i went out today with my broken leg and got accosted by an old lady, with some magazines.. it was my first ever encounter with a jw in ten years, and i had said 'i know you are jw's, i'm not interested thank you.
" twice.....then she started talking about my broken leg and how wonderful we are made and how amazing the healing process is.... and that's when it all started...."i used to be a bethelite pioneer, now i'm an atheist doctor...".
she was with me a good 30 mins, her elder husband left very annoyed but she stayed, and she was dying to hear everything i spurted out, despite aggressively defending every point, from military engines to paedophilia.

Fun at The WT This Morning
by OneFingerSalute inso ofs was at the wt this morning, and on par.
14 the question was, "what trust can a faithful christian whose relative is disfellowshipped have?".
after awhile when no one else raised their hands ofs did, and was called on.. ofs commented, "one of jw can have the trust that god will lovingly give them the ability to uphold the disfellowshipping arrangement by totally shunning family members.".

Crisis of Consience market price (we are in a bull market)
by NewYork44M ini was considering getting another copy of one of ray's books and was shocked about the market value.
is ray's book worth $1,000?

jesus always went away to pray]build houses of worship store up treasures on earthjudge their fellow man and condemn their fellow man.

why gb asking for money?famine in land
by poopie inwhat do i mean well when there was a famine in israel david inquired of jehovah, jehovah told him that the gibeonites were not being treated right so until david fixed the problem of how they were being treated jehovahs blessing was withheld from the nation jehovah does not change until we start treating people right by not shunning them and anouncing sinners names from platform as no longer jw jehovah will not bless the efforts of those promoting unloveing behavior

Poopie, I like the original idea, it's certainly a valid parallel, and we know how we jdubs enjoy types and antitypes!
Ultimately though, I suspect that it shows more aptly how the scriptures can be cherry picked and interpreted to say whatever one wants them to say.

I'm sure there'll be a lot of umbrella action this summer, it's only just starting to get warm!
I intend to enjoy lots of olive based evening meals in the garden with my loverley missus if the weather allows it, if it doesn't then I'll book us a flight to somewhere hot for a coupla weeks and we'll do it there!

10 years and Satan finally struck....
by snare&racket ini left around a decade ago, life has not been easy, but it has been profoundly better than the jw robotics my earlier life chapters resembled.. my current life was going so well, too well...... and finally the nemesis of jahooha came out from his dark hiding place.
no longer in gods tent i was as vulnerable as the chinese job and his unfortunate sheep and children.. satan, bless his socks of cotton, has finally attacked, he broke my leg the dark lordy bastard.. a spiral fracture of the fibula and various fractures the ankle joint.. the worst of all his evil doings was the story i have to tell people, it's 'mechanism of injury'..... i slipped on some grass.
yes the devilish ball rash, got me good.. so now, i sit bored, wishing i had meetings to prepare for, talks to write and i long for the live bombing i would have received as an interesting new kingdom hall event in the decades of waiting on jahooha..... but all i have is some lame ass, american apostates on a forum..... tchhhh.... .

Have two browsers installed, one for general use where you can leave the history untouched, and one purely for jw net, where you wipe it every time you shut it down.
